When nobody’s reading and nobody’s linking, blogging can really seem pointless.

… Now, according to the egalitarian mythos of the Web, anyone can publish. You skip the step of requiring an editor and publisher, but no one is willing to skip the step of requiring an audience.

I do get traffic. But when the only traffic you get is people looking for software cracks, it gets a little old.

Do I sound bitter?  Yeah, a little bit.  Who cares?  I’m sure I’ll be in a better blogging mood later.
